The Nokia 6303 Classic is an evolutionary step-up on the classic Nokia 6300. With a 3.2 megapixel camera (including autofocus and flash), an MP3 player, FM radio, Nokia Maps, USB and Bluetooth the 6303 is an easy-to-use no-nonsense handset with a good looking stainless steel finish and great features.
Weighing in a few grams heavier than the 6300, the 6303 feels just right in the hand. One of the welcome design improvements is the larger display, being 2.2 inches across (16.7 million colours and 320 x 240 resolution), this is a respectable display size for this design of phone, and is bright and easy to see and use.
Never miss another special moment when you have the Nokia 6303 at your side. With a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, dual LED flash, and 8x digital zoom the 6303 is perfect for all those candid moments.

Best mid-range phone from Nokia

Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting the *perfect* mid-range phone from Nokia, aimed at people looking for a not-so-basic and not-too-high-end mobile, with a flawless, no-nonsense metal body, slim profile and more than enough features packed in.
While this phone was originally intended as a direct upgrade for the highly sucessful 6300, it is also a great replacement for the older 6230i (one of Nokia's most successful phones ever).
This really is the perfect mid-range phone.
Pros:
1) 3.2MP autofocus camera + xenon flash has quite good picture quality.
2) Feels solid, with a metal casing and slim sizing fits comfortably in any pocket and looks quite professional.
3) Has built-in maps which allow you to search addresses and places.
4) Features the tried-and-tested S40 (non-symbian) OS, which is always known for its speed and realiability (no crashes) - although its a bit inflexible.
5) Radio features RDS for viewing music information.
6) Features a standard 3.5mm jack so you can use *any* earphones instead of being limited to properietary nokia ones.
7) Large 2.2" display is crystal clear, and very readable even in direct sunlight.
8) Confortable keypad with distinct keys is a pleasure to type on.
The Cons:
1) No GPS - despite the fact that it has maps installed on it. But at this price, who's complaining?
2) S40 interface is a bit inflexible - you can't multitask, edit office documents, minimize apps etc.
But again, isn't that asking for too much at this price?
All in all, if you're looking for a professional-looking phone with decent features, don't need advanced features like GPS or Wifi, you probably can't go wrong with this phone.
Excellent phone

I bought this phone just over a month ago and have had no problems whatsoever. My previous phone was an ancient Nokia 3310 and I found that the 6303 Classic is just as intuitive to use, albeit with a good many more features (as you would expect after seven-ish years of progress!). The 1GB memory card has plenty of room to store music and photos, and the 3.2MP camera is more than adequate for a phone. The ring tone is loud enough to hear from inside my bag. All in all, not a particularly trendy looking phone, but this is definitely a good choice if you want a solid built phone to primarily make calls and texts with a few fun extras!
Great little phone

Needed new phone asap as old N73 giving trouble. Always had Nokias. Problem with N73 was that it was not fully compatible with car kit so I could not access my phone book. No such worries with 6303 which was a pleasant surprise as it is a more modern phone and did not expect it to. Loved the silver/black cover and the buttons are first class as they are spaced apart allowing for easy texting. Big screen and the graphics etc are great. Slim line too and some great games come with it. Battery lasts for ever. One and only issue is that although it has 3.2 MP camera it is not as good as N73 because no Carl Zeiss lens but that is my only gripe!
One of the best nokias around!

An important part of any music player is the amount of memory it has available, and whilst the N6303 comes with only 17MB of internal flash memory, it has the option of adding a microSD memory card, which can be up to 4GB.
